Privacy policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
FocusCarry ("we," "us," or "our") operates www.focuscarryedc.com and its related shopping and customer support services (the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, and handled when you browse our store, place an order, subscribe to emails, or contact us.
Our store is hosted by Shopify. This policy covers our handling of personal information; Shopify and payment providers may also process information for their own purposes under their respective privacy policies. Acknowledging this policy does not, by itself, constitute consent to optional marketing or tracking where separate consent is required.
1. Personal information we collect
The information involved depends on how you interact with the Services. It can include:
- Contact and delivery information: your name, email address, shipping address, postal code, and billing details required by the checkout or payment provider. Providing a telephone number on our order form is optional.
- Order and transaction information: products ordered, amounts paid, discounts, order numbers, payment status, transaction references, shipping and tracking details, and return, refund, or warranty claim records.
- Communications: information you provide in support requests, emails, feedback, or any photographs you send to help us assess a product or delivery issue.
- Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device information, cookie or similar identifiers, referring pages or links, pages and products viewed, cart activity, and interactions with the store.
- Marketing preferences: your subscription status, consent or opt-out choices, and interactions with marketing messages where the relevant measurement features are used.
Payment credentials are submitted through the payment services available at checkout, currently PayPal. We receive the payment confirmations and transaction information needed to process and support your order. Please do not send full payment card numbers, passwords, or other sensitive account credentials to our support email.
2. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you when you subscribe, place an order, or contact us; through Shopify and the technologies used to operate the store; and from payment and shipping providers when they process your order. Our email services also process messages you send us and subscription-related messages.
3. How we use information
- To accept and administer orders, process payments, arrange delivery and customs documentation, and handle cancellations, returns, replacements, refunds, and warranty claims.
- To send order confirmations and necessary order or support messages, and to answer your questions.
- To operate shopping features, remember appropriate preferences, and maintain the functionality of the store.
- To understand store performance, identify technical problems, and improve products, content, and customer service.
- To send marketing emails in accordance with your choices and applicable law. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To help prevent fraud and misuse, protect the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How we disclose information
We disclose information as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to:
- Shopify, which hosts and supports our online store.
- Payment providers, including PayPal, for payment processing, transaction administration, fraud prevention, and refunds.
- *Shipping and fulfillment providers, including carriers and relevant delivery and customs service providers, to prepare, transport, clear, track, and deliver orders.
- Service providers supporting the business, such as providers of communications, email delivery, customer support, technical services, recordkeeping, and analytics, to the extent those services are used.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or address a dispute.
Information may also be disclosed at your direction or with your consent. If the business is involved in a merger, sale, restructuring, or similar transaction, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable legal requirements.
5. Shopify and its privacy practices
Shopify collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of our store to provide and improve its services. Information submitted to our store is shared with Shopify and relevant service providers, which may operate outside your country.
Where enhanced Shopify features are enabled, Shopify may use information about your interactions with our store together with information about your interactions with other merchants and Shopify to provide those features. Some of these features can support personalized advertising or other services across merchants. For processing for which Shopify is responsible, Shopify handles the corresponding privacy choices and requests.
Read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and visit the Shopify Privacy Portal to learn about Shopify's processing and available choices.
6. Cookies, advertising, and privacy choices
The Services use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as maintaining a shopping session, remembering cart contents, security, and store operation. Depending on the features in use and the choices that apply, these technologies may also support analytics, personalization, referral measurement, or advertising. Relevant providers may collect information about online activity over time and across different websites or services.
Disclosure of information for cross-context behavioral advertising, including through eligible Shopify features where enabled, may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under certain privacy laws. These legal terms can apply even when no money is exchanged for information.
For questions or requests about cookies, applicable sale or sharing, or targeted advertising, contact support@focuscarryedc.com. We handle requests in accordance with applicable law. The choices available through Shopify for its own processing are described in the links above.
Applicable law may require recognition of browser opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). These signals concern particular types of data use and are different from general browser "Do Not Track" settings. Contact us if you have questions about how a privacy preference applies to your information.
You can also manage cookies through your browser and through any cookie preferences made available on the Services. Blocking all cookies may affect cart, account, or checkout functions. Opting out of targeted advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising.
7. Marketing emails
Our welcome email discount requires your agreement to subscribe to marketing emails. You do not need to subscribe to place an order. We use your subscription information to send the welcome offer and manage your email preferences; optional promotional messages are subject to your choices and applicable law.
You can withdraw your agreement to receive marketing emails at any time. For help with a subscription or a request to stop marketing, contact support@focuscarryedc.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary messages about an order, refund, or support request.
Abandoned-checkout reminders, when sent, are subject to the email permissions and legal requirements that apply. Entering an email address at checkout does not, by itself, mean you have agreed to every type of promotional message.
8. Your privacy rights and requests
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, receive information in a portable format, opt out of certain processing, withdraw consent, or object to or restrict certain uses. You may also have a right to appeal a decision about a request or complain to an appropriate authority.
Send requests to support@focuscarryedc.com and explain what you would like us to do. Using the email associated with your order or account can help us locate relevant records. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity for requests that require verification. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may submit a request with evidence of authorization.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Some information may need to be retained to complete a transaction, maintain required records, prevent fraud, or meet other legal obligations. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the applicable reason. To appeal a decision where an appeal right applies, reply to our decision or contact the same email address. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
9. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is used. This depends on the type of information, order and support needs, accounting or legal recordkeeping obligations, fraud prevention, and unresolved disputes.
Order, payment, and after-sales records may need to be retained after an order is completed. Subscription information is used to manage your choices; a limited opt-out record may be kept to avoid sending unwanted marketing. Abandoned-checkout information is handled according to its purpose and applicable retention requirements. We do not promise that all customer information is automatically deleted after a fixed number of days.
You may request access, correction, or deletion as described above. A deletion request does not necessarily require removal of records we must keep by law, but those records remain subject to the relevant restrictions on their use.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No method of internet transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through email or contact forms.
10. International processing
Shopify, payment processors, and other providers may process or store information in other countries where they operate. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Cross-border processing is subject to applicable data protection requirements and any safeguards required by those laws.
11. Children and third-party websites
Our store is directed toward adults, and our products are not marketed as children's toys. If you believe that a child has provided personal information that should not have been collected, contact support@focuscarryedc.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action under applicable law.
Links to websites or services operated by others are governed by those providers' own privacy practices. Please review their notices before providing information to them.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, services, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required by law.
13. Contact us
For privacy questions or requests, email support@focuscarryedc.com. We reply within 48 hours; completing a privacy request may take longer and follows the applicable legal timeframe.
